We would never have got Sam Cosgrove…or the two Bristol boys it’s to do with our geographical location unfortunately for us being in the arse end of nowhere. Players just don’t want to come.
But the arse end of nowhere did get Cosgrove.

If we get no one in today it’s a bloody disgrace imo . We were told 4/5 weeks ago we needed 3/4 players so we all know we are woefully short . If Jev and Nombe get injured can any of you on here even believe we will get enough goals from MJ , Coley and Cox in league one!! Absolutely no hope. Every other team has brought in players , fed up of hearing about location and players going elsewhere

Just listened to MT’s interview others have said same old same old but what are they really expecting. Perhaps MT is paying the price for being so open. I can’t recall PT having had to face the media on such a relentless basis and IMHO MT is looking tired and showing signs of becoming slightly fed up having to repeat the same for want of a better word story.

Personally I certainly do not envy him as rightly or wrongly if he is unable to make any new signings and the squad becomes further debilitated as a result of injuries and we struggle to survive it will be his job that is on the line…….if he reads this let’s show we are behind him and give him the moral support that he deserves and needs UTC.

I think we are all going have to back Matt Taylor’s judgement. He proved us all wrong last season when we were getting on his back about his marquee signings. Although it feels different this time. He hasn’t been given the tools he needs and us as fans can see it. In his interview he seems to be putting a brave face on it with the usual Exeter City cliches remarks. To me it would be such a shame if this went tits up, and we went down without a fight because our first 11 is more than good enough to compete at this level. What happened to pulling out the “jems” surely we could of got in a striker who is L1 ability who has perhaps lost his way? Or of course an up and coming loanee from a bigger club instead of by the looks of it absolutely no-one. It is dissapointing, I just hope we are not going backwards again heading back to L2.

Newcastle's Longstaff has joined Colchester, that's a good signing for them, not a position we needed to fill but was impressed with him last year, and surprised he isn't in the league above

It would have been nice if Tagg and Co could have told us the
fans they are doing all they can to back the manager, instead of
the deathly silence . 🤫

Three players (Dieng, Jay, and Coley who have yet to show they can step up to L1 football).
Dieng and Jay are easily good enough for Lg 1, we'll see about Coley.

Coley's a frustrating one - there's a good player in there somewhere I'm sure but has been largely disappointing so far. Guess it doesn't help being played in different positions which don't seem to suit him.

The following players have joined league one and two teams on loan today and could’ve improved us:

Paul Glatzel (Tranmere)
Sam Cosgrove (Plymouth)
Rob Street (Shrewsbury)
Sylvester Jasper (Bristol Rovers)
Admiral Muskwe (Fleetwood)
Josh Coburn (Bristol Rovers)
Christian Saydee (Shrewsbury)

Would’ve taken any of them. There are so many players out there, surely we can get SOMEONE of decent quality?!
What makes you think Saydee is any good?
