Every time Nevs ran into the penalty area with the ball, the cry would ring around the ground "Fall over". Good times
I think most were surprised to see Nev's keep his balance to score that second against Sunderland. Great night even though it ended in disappointment. Home to Coventry in the quarters would have been interesting.

Yeah, Cooper overspent and got out and when he came back he oversaw the financial meltdown that eventually saw us sinking to the depths of the league and eventually relegation to the conference and relegation, but what team and what a squad! That Southend game featured many players that were not regular first team, no Shaun Taylor, no Jim McNichol, we'd also lost the talents of Chris Vinnicombe and Darren Rowbotham that season and yet still won the league by ten clear points.
We may have been on a one way ticket to oblivion but God. I'd do it again!

Any chance of showing your last game of the 1990/91 season? :)
