The ref had a shocker but he didn't cost us a point. Decisions went both ways too, missed a clear handball by Jones in the first half and gave us a free kick late on when baldy headed it away.

very very poor ref. second half made some absolute shockers.

at one point noble was basically mugged, it wouldn't have looked out of place if they had pulled out a knife, but of course the ref (wearing blue,) wouldn't give us a free kick if they had shot him in the foot with a 12 gauge.

Wondering if I'm on a different planet
He was as bad as I have seen in over 50 years. He booked N,Guessian for what he himself clearly indicated was an elbow on Duffy and should therefore have been a red.
The linos on both sides were as bad. Southampton - particularly Harding - were holding and pushing all night without any decisions being made

The ref was certainly poor although I do wish players would get on with the game and play to whistle. We didn't help ourselves by stopping several times for a free kick which never came.

He booked Logan and Noble and Duffy for pathetic chalenges..
Sh*te end of generally but he booked Logan for deliberate handball not a challenge (not really sure it warrented a booking), correctly booked Duffy for dissent and Noble for a cyncical ankle tap when their player had got away from him.

He probably got most of the bookings right although all the 50-50 went one way.

Terrible, we all moan about refs but man this one was one of the worst.

Supporting City 'til the end.
Can't disagree with anything written here. Atrocious officials tonight, they wouldn't have looked out of place in the BSq N/S.
