If my maths is right we started with 8 players 20 or under with a combined total of 2 league starts between them. Anyone know how the Villa side compared?

Man of the match for me tonight. Really got us on the front foot in the first half with quality and pace from out wide and carried on in the second half up front. Similar as a ball playing inside forward to Alan Gow without the languidness. Also thought Key, Kite and Seymour showed up well. Back three were solid. Tilly did what he needed to as did MJ.

Smerdon has a lot of enthusiasm and energy and one for the future with rough edges to iron out. Worth remembering that he is same age as Sparkes playing in the same position.

Third goal was the perfect corner. Whipped into the edge of the six yard area met with a thumping inevitability of a header from Jordan Dyer who had detached himself from the extensive love train .

That was Josh Key - Joel Randall is on loan to Weston-Super-Mare which I assume makes him ineligible for the Leasing.com nonsense.

Reading this their female/women's/ladies team don't play their matches there, maybe they play them at Villa Park, or maybe not! Let's hope they have a 'Dannyclaret' to sort this discrepancy out!

They apparently play at the Trevor Brown Memorial Ground in Boldmere. Sounds exotic.
