In RaWZ we trust....Amen.
Anyone watching the C4 Climate debate ? No wonder BJ gave it a swerve.

The only one with any credibility is Sian Berry the Green co leader.

You would kinda hope the Green Party would be in their comfort zone on this one. As Greenpeace stated earlier that the conservatives had the weakest environmental policy along with TBP, it's not a surprise Boris avoided this one. The less scrutiny the better.

I don’t think any of the main partys have credible plans.
The minute they think it will cost them votes at the ballot box & ultimately power they fudge & backtrack.
Nichola Sturgeon will on North Sea Oil & Gas.
Plaid Cymru will on keeping the intensive farmers happy in Wales.
Labour will lose loads of votes & upset the TU if manufacturing is hit with carbon taxs(as happened in the Steel Industry)

We have heard it all before unfortunately.
Politics is short term & about the next Parliament cycle. Not long term planning(as per the social care crisis, that both Labour & Tory will not tackle because it’s a vote loser,Death tax,Dementia tax whichever side of the fence you are on)

One of George Osbornes bright ideas to save money(£10m a year) abolishing the car tax disc in Oct 2014 has spectacularly backfired.
Vehicle tax evasion was running at around £34m when the car tax disc was abolished.
It was £105m last year & £94m this year !!

The old saying “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”.
Pension reforms also fall into that quote.

You can rely on politicians to make any problem worse.
