Well he has not achieved much in Government so far. Or have I missed something ?

Her appeal wouldn't be broad enough imho. Ditto Thornberry.

Starmer would be a sensible choice but for me he hasn't quite got that x factor. In the same way I thought Dan Jarvis hadn't i.e. somewhat uninspiring.

I think gramps and his lieutenants are trying to line up Long-Bailey or Rayner. Although an improvement on Jess Phillips, I still don't think they're quite the full ticket.
