I do wonder however if there will be a renewed bounce for BJ if his brave decision to lift restrictions a fortnight ago is met with a continued drop in infections. Many on the left were giving him pelters two weeks ago for being reckless, Carol Codswallop even it called it a murderous decision I seem to recall.

It just highlights the perils of overly politicising a global health emergency IMO. As for the ‘Johnson variant’ jibe, it smacks of him taking his cues from the twattersphere and ending up looking a right berk as a result.
