We could do better for sure but you never hear people moaning about the atmosphere when we win a game.
We only sing when we're winning

Hanging up the boots.
So let me get this right you call yourself a City fan and yet decide to stay away on purpose because someone has told you to stay away ?
Tell you know there is a guy at the top of the big bank that shouts and moans almost the whole way through every home game and even did it at Wibledon at the weekend, I could easily go over to him and tell him to f*ckoff somewhere else and do his moaning but he is there through rain and shine and will be there long after any player or manager has left why because he is City and he wouldnt be anywhere else on a Saturday.

If you think by staying away you are taking some sort of stance against whatever then feel free to do so but NEVER stay away because someone has told you to do so !
Go to SJP because you want to go , Because you call yourself City , Because you arent a glory hunting Premiership fan who will never go to a ground that is 200 miles away, Go because there's nothing worse than sitting at home or in a pub too far away and watching Jeff Stellin telling you the score every so often when he feels like it UTC
I am not going because I have issues with the manager and the way the club is being run. My point was that people are quick to use the whole "we don't need moaning fans here" argument which is of course ********. You do at least be able to appreciate the moaning bloke at the back as he is of course a paying customer and has as much right as anyone. It takes all sorts.

Incidentally I have no problems with The Premiership or Jeff Stelling or Skysports. It seems that you have to either like lower league football or you're a 'frnachise glory hunter type of fan'. Well I just love football fullstop, don't care if it's Ryman league or Champions League. Seems you score more 'proper fan poitns' if you state your dislike for modern football and top teir football.

Awaiting the rise of the academy boys.
Have had the news I wanted...
Early kick off for my sons football team on saturday so we have time to travel down.

City for three points, and the late charge will be on!

According to the Cheltenham fans forum i've just been reading ,they expect to bring a fair few fans ,over 700 ,also one fan said if you can't get in the away end go in with the Exeter fans as they are " a soft touch " ,interesting ,one also reckons that Artur is rubbish and the back 4 a bit slow , things are warming up.

The fans definitely have a part to play but if the players don't start well or respond to the noise then it never lasts for long. We could do better for sure but you never hear people moaning about the atmosphere when we win a game.
I think if Tisdale starts the right way like at wimbledon then we can really get a good atmosphere going!

If you really want to improve the atmosphere on the Bank give Cheltenham a small section of the Bank. When Sheffield United got one in the last game of the season the atmosphere in the first half was cracking as there was banter going back and forth. When they got escorted into the away end just before half time, because half the fans who'd bought tickets didn't turn up because of their bottle job meaning it was the play-offs for them, the atmosphere went back to its usual level.

As at Wimbledon last week and elsewhere, if you really want a good atmosphere, the most vocal home fans need to be near the away fans.
