No.

My reading would be they likely offered £24m only to be told "several interested clubs have already offered that" (or similar), so offered £28m rising to £33m to get the deal done......

My reading would be they likely offered £24m only to be told "several interested clubs have already offered that" (or similar), so offered £28m rising to £33m to get the deal done......

Or its £28m in longer installments than £24m would have been?
