With Chelsea sacking Tuchel, while they are unlikely to come calling for Taylor, every other team seems to be looking for instant returns on their investments in new players etc. and seem to be giving their Managers very little time to get it right. How long will it be before someone comes calling to approach Taylor?! Someone mentioned Tagg saying they are already working on a succession plan. Would losing Taylor be catastrophic or would another internal promotion keep things ticking along without a complete upheaval to our structure if we appointed an outside Manager?!

Why the title apart from to grab attention. If you want to discuss our succession plans along with the C & F spend and Trust then just start e thread without such histrionics.

the thread title needs a ? at its end rather than a !

(and then of course becomes part of a long running joke from the Tisdale era that the City manager gets linked with every managerial vacancy, however absurd.Perhaps that joke has run its course!)

Would be loathe to see KMT leave and I don't he would be tempted for a while. Medium to long-term who knows and it is always wise to have a Plan B.

I think you probably need Plans B, C, D and maybe a few more.
The club may have someone in mind who already works there but he might leave with Matt.
Or someone who works elsewhere may be on the club’s list of possibles, but could be unavailable at the point we need a replacement Manager or and I appreciate this is highly unlikely, might turn us down!
