Ditto, we haven't heard from him for a few days now hope he's okay
Yes agreed.
It is bleddy hot in Arizona this time of year so Pate may be keeping a low profile.

Maybe he inadvertently went to a basketball match and completely freaked out/went berserk or something.

I saw Stockley in RD&E the day before his signing was announced.
Maybe he just accidentally went to the wrong side of Barrack Road ? ;)

Brilliant! Of course an alternative is to agree a three year contract with a release clause at a fixed figure . As was done with Stockley, resulting in moans when it got activated!
And just to add that there was nothing wrong with having a release clause, more the fact he could leave in January which then pretty much screwed up our season. Presumably it's possible to negotiate contracts where release clauses are only allowed to kick in during the close season.

A bit worried our resident goalkeeper guru has not passed comment yet...
Yeah, where are you Pete? Hope you're just on holiday and nothing bad has happened.

Pete must be on a secret scouting mission for City's no.2 keeper, armed with tape measure and a picture of the gap.
Hope Pete is well and just taking some time out over the summer holidays.

Good point. Good idea.

( though IIRC Stockley’s release clause didn’t kick in until he had been with us for 16 months and already in the summer window Preston had been ready to offer the 750k, so we would have lost him earlier. However the right thing to do would have been what happened when Wheeler left at the end of the summer window and we signed Stockley Boateng Kane and Kyle on deadline day)

Looking at the pre season training videos, young Lewis is tall, heads and shoulders above everyone else
