Just got home (yes, Ive had a few pints) checked the scores and tables and Reading are top and Wigan are third...ive only had 3 maybe 4 pints.
PS maybe 5!

More than likely, I always thought the ideal situation is to go into the play offs with momentum though.

I don't think there is any sanction.
Remember Bristol Rovers 7-0 last day win over a capitulating Scunthorpe a couple of seasons ago that did for Northampton's automatic promotion hopes ...
