Say Burton go up with the 4 former city players playing major parts... Poor management or poor player application?

Given that arguably none of those were first choice players by the end of last season I think there's more chance of Burton getting relegated. Imagine the outcry on here if we splashed the cash to persuade a 30 year old to join us who had played all but two seasons at a lower level and never looked especially convincing in the 2 seasons he did play in League One.

Blackman was our best GK last season and our first choice when fit or even partially fit.

If Harper, Kegs, and Caprice play every week there's more chance they'll be relegated.

Won't happen as those players (Blackman aside) aren't good enough anyway.

Kegs and Harper were loans and I think most of us would have been pretty uninspired if we'd offered them deals.

Blackman was on a very lucrative one year deal with us. Again, don't mind the fact we've not bothered going down that road again.

Caprice was a decent enough back up full back but he wasn't going to start when everyone fit anyway - Caprice isn't getting you promoted from League 1.

Burton fans seem to think they're taking our best players, it's quite amusing really.

All Exeweb’s woes will be forgotten when we sign four or five very experienced street wise players in the next week or so . Just wait and see. With most of the squad under the age of twenty five GC has to make his move for extra experience soon.
