Another of their former strikers is of course a certain Gareth Sheldon ! He is still playing at the age of 40 with Polesworth Town in the Midland Football Combination Division 2.

Last time I saw Sheldon was playing at Heavitree United in a charity game set up by Sean Devine which featured a load of conference era ex-City players. Let's say Gareth was the largest presence on the pitch that day , could still play though.
