Beech was making a lot of positive noises over the summer with the new signings they were making, they even had a new pitch laid.
Sand based I think.

Well he had a better win percentage than Clough jr who is still hanging on in there at the Stags - amazing how an injury crisis can be used in your favour. Let's hope that it continues for their next three league matches at least- Away to Northampton, Home to Port Vale Drawing at Exeter and then home to Tranmere. Not an easy journey for them to 15 matches

Statement from Crawley on alleged racist abuse in their game at home to Sutton

Having lived and worked in Crawley until a couple of years ago when I retired back home here, I used to watch a fair bit of Crawley Town with my mates as I couldn’t get back to SJP. Being on the fringes of South London, their sides were always quite ethnically diverse (like our own side today) with the likes of Boldewijn, Kamara and Ashley Young whom they loved.

Well done to Crawley for coming straight out with this statement. They are a friendly, all-encompassing club who don’t need this national publicity. I hope they’ve caught the culprit! If they haven’t, I hope they leave our boys alone on Tuesday.

Couple interesting matches tomorrow night
Top of the table Vegans away to seventh placed Leyton O
Second placed Harrogate home to fourth placed Tranmere
Third placed Port Vale away to Nigel Clough's (for the moment) Mansfield
Fifth placed Sutton Utd at home to sixth placed Swindon

A win for us and draws all round for that lot would do us nicely (as we are playing Mansfield on Saturday not overly keen for them to win tomorrow, might be the start of something!).

Would be funny if Mike Flynn took over at Cardiff and took them up !
