On a train from Crewe to Chester today i was sat next to Paddy Doherty the "King of the Gypsys" He was on a few programmes about the life of Gypsys and their culture, Plus they gave him his own programme if i remember rightly and was on a CBB too. What a top bloke he is, had a real nice long chat with him, Talking about alsorts of things. He was a bare knuckle fighter back in the day and i still wouldn't argue with him.

Whilst I sipped a quiet half outside the Turk's Head on St Agnes, John Major was at the next table. With Norma.

I can confirm that they ate up all the peas on their lunch plates.

Need to display a spot of decorum before the Major.

(plus, the ferry was leaving in 10 minutes)

(& the crossing out had been..."choppy")

I've been on that ferry. Never again.

Reminds me of that quote about sea-sickness. "You think you're dying, and then it gets worse - you realise you're not".

Because of the nototious rocks the Scillonian is a shallow flat bottomed boat, not the place to be in a swell!
