If you have a skill, which is only likely to be in demand until sometime in your 30s, I think most of us would want to maximize our earnings whilst we had the chance.
Maybe you’re different, or think footballers should be?

All players are about the money hence why we're always struggling to sign them.

That’s my point. Although a lot of people on here don’t see it like that. Hopefully if there is similar wages available we can get better value long term elsewhere.

There isn’t anything wrong with that. You have to pay the going rate if you want the better players. The number of times you read about ‘League Two Players’ and we can do better than that on here is unbelievable. We signed Blackman because we paid what he wanted. So let’s hope we can keep doing that going forward.
