I always assumed they were the Wagner boys out fighting the Azov chaps.
Those football hooligans looked like well trained, disciplined professionals - the Spetsnaz of street brawling.

Wagner aren't a patch on them - just a bunch of psychopathic thugs:

They even managed to outrage Assadists which takes quite some doing.....

In Mali they are just killing whoever they come across regardless of what side they are on (if any):

The US military knows how best to deal with them:

Guy at the end below seems to have come up with a good way to get out of going! He won't be the first who has ever missed their flight because they got drunk....

No wonder the russian army is falling in numbers.

What we forget is when we went out to the middle east we were fighting born fighters who have been training all their lives. Russian forces really haven't had much to do in the last few decades. They are a shambles.

I think the death of a Russian soldier is one thing. The death of an unwilling conscripted civilian is completely another.

When numbers of the latter start to mount (which they will), Putin really is going to lose the support of his people (where it still remains).

We're looking at end game...just a question as to when that is, and what it looks like.

Poor sods. How long before someone succeeds in an assassination attempt on Putin? How many times did they have a go at Hitler , forty odd? It’s kept quiet obviously but someone must be always looking for the main chance to get him.

Ukraine again advancing in the East. Seeking to cut off or force the retreat of Russian forces garrisoning the important frontline town of Lyman. Or perhaps Ukraine just wants to get to the polling stations so their soldiers can vote....

Dagestanis are far from happy with being 'mobilised' - they don't want to go at all, let alone be sent in disproportionate numbers so that the Muscovites can remain insulated from the worst of the war. Protests are taking place across the whole of Dagestan and the below videos are just a small sample. Would not be surprised if this leads to renewed insurgency in Dagestan and Putin's henchman Kadyrov recognises that risk in neighbouring Chechnya as he has declared that there won't be mobilisation there:
