What's the route for that Brinty? May have a go at that.
I'll shout across to you/say hello next time. The route is essentially three laps from the quay to the swing bridge via footpaths etc - pretty much part of your normal route, I think.

The Mrs (after a bit of wine to be fair!) reckons you'll win it, the pace you're usually going when we see you...

Did a 1:40 as my PB on the old course - but this course seems tougher. You should do the Exeter trails half in Feb, Sumns. Flat as a pancake, you'll probably do under 1:30.
After today I'm very tempted I must admit!
