Sounds like a classic "Express and Error" comedy piece to me. A completely untrue claim to be the FIRST such book, and then launch on April Fools Day. Might be worth getting hold of a copy just to count how many factual errors there are on each page ! ;)

I am sure that Irish Brian will be recalling that little homily about "Imitation and Flattery" and allowing himself a little smile !
;) oh well! I loved Mike Blackstone's Grecian Anthology book. Full or great facts and figures.

Thanks to everyone who has bought the book so far. If you're thinking about it, click on this link and you can read the prologue and the first chapter to get a flavour of the sort of book I've written. UTC.

Trouble with me is I like lots of pictures, with not too much to have to read. I've got some of Blackstones books, and the balance of words with illustrations is sort of right, because the anecdotes etc are interesting. I'm not a fan of books that are all reading though, always been the same. I used to love the old football annuals when I was a kid - pictures back to front.

Read and enjoyed chapter 1 on the Internet. Any plans to publish as an e-book?

In a meeting somewhere, some place...
Bought it in the club shop yesterday - nearly got it for free as lad behind the till was telling me it was £11 for 2 programmes, a tea towel and the book...until I had to point it out...

I wouldnt have thought the ability to read would enter into it with the publications you indulge in. Just upgrade the glasses every 12 months, so I'm told.

Cripes, no ones bought one of them in a good ten years. It's all xvideos and pornhub these days Pete.
