Young Man......All tache's & prancing around i expect...

I watched Truro thrash Bridport 7-0 last night...The first 20 minutes was intresting, then after the first goal,it was all one way traffic...

Taylor,Afful,Martin,Santos,McConnell & Power were all in the Truro line up..Ricey was not playing, because Torquay did not want him cup tied..

A long journey for Truro in the next round..

I saw on DotNet that someone reckoned that little Les was MOM. Shirley not?

I'd have thought so. Lil' Les tore enough Conf defences to shreds (without bl**dy scoring!), imagine what he'd do to a team playing in the Dog & Duck League 3rd division.

Yes,he played well.....Dodged some x rated challanges as well...The ref was very lenient on the home side...

Bridport play in The Western League Division 1 & were only in the cup because a few teams had grading problems(even at that level the FA set a minimum requirement for entry)...They beat Dawlish(in the league above in the previous round-extra preliminary) & to get a draw at Truro was unbelievable...Though McCarthy apparently put in a load of youngsters last week...Sounds familiar....Always play your strongest team..

The crowd was 335 last night..

Willand Rovers are at home to Bath City in the 2nd qualifying round.....Willand play in the Western League(Premier)

Willand's population must be less than 800,so must be one of the smallest villages in the FA Cup competition.....I expect a few Grecians who do not want to cough up £25 for The Valley, will go to this game..
