Back in the 90s I went in the away end when we played Burnley. Burnley had been promoted and they gave them the bank so we had to go in the away end. That's if my memories not playing tricks on me
I'm not sure it was the 90's but something like that happened with Burnley and Wolves.

Definitely Wolves in 87 or 88. The Burnley match I'm thinking about was 1990.

If Carlsberg did football clubs...
What are you on about? I stood down the St James Road when I started watching City first, late 70's early 80's.
I'm on about asking a question. I have only been watching City since the mid-90s and wasn't sure. So, I was asking if it was open to home fans in the 60s....or later...or earlier.

That's what I was on about.

I didn't start watching city until 91 so it was after that. I think it was the season we got relegated to League 2

That would have been the last day of the season in 1994. When the decision was made they could have been on for automatic promotion but as it turned out were stranded in the play offs. We were already relegated so it was a bit of a dead rubber. We won 4-1 with goals from Mark Cooper (2), Robbie Turner and a first career goal from Richard Pears. I was also in the away end that day.

Burnley went on to win promotion in the play offs beating the Gargs in the semi final.

Well in the 60s I would go and watch the reserves play, pretty much move around the ground at will.

Im predicting MT will go with the same line up as the Carlisle game for this one, personally I’d like to see Rowe fit in the side somehow.

In RaWZ we trust....Amen.
We were in there last season weren’t we? I remember Archie’s shot which swerved in and the city fans behind the goal all moved to the side automatically.
Ha..Remember it well, I was one of them.

What a great atmosphere there will be on Friday.

This would normally be a game where MT would consider playing 4 at the back with a bit more attacking intent. Although on this occasion, there's no way he can break up that defense. So really it's just a question of who plays up top?
I think we've seen conclusively since Christmas that three at the back just seems to suit our players better. Hartridge and Sweeney are excellent at bringing the ball out of defence and Key, Sparkes and Caprice all seem to be better as wing-backs than either full backs or wingers.
