Having started the QF and SF match day threads with some success I will go for the treble.

Come on England. 55 years has been far too long.

It’s coming home.

3-0 England. Have to get up at 4.40am for 5am kickoff, buzzing now, feeling hopelessly optimistic, but we haven't lost yet, so still thinking this is our time !!

Theory no 1.
Italy have passed their peak and are a bit knackered.
Theory no. 2.
Johnson is a lucky PM and Southgate is a lucky manager.
Theory no. 3.
Kane is on fire again
Theory no. 4.
The ref is more likely to give England a little helping hand than Italy.
Theory no. 5.
We can't always be unlucky.

Conclusion
England 3 Italy 2.

The media are pushing this so hard from England‘s point of view that the never ending tv coverage is becoming sick making to say the least. The world and their wife have been interviewed about their views on the match and a lot of the coverage on parochial tv in this region anyway has been a tad embarrassing.
I know you have to be positive and football’s coming home and all that but they seem to be leaving Italy out of the equation.Hope it doesn’t end in tears , and if it does that there’s no sour grapes.
That off my chest , come on England…….

And while I’m on the subject, please please don’t let the yobs spoil the occasion by booing our opponent’s national anthem. Show a little grace please.

Try "Churchill's Bodyguard" currently showing on Yesterday channel.
They haven't mentioned it once!
Or, failing that there's "Bless This House " on now on ITV4. I believe that is also certified as EUROS-Safe

They're going to boo the anthem. However this only 'spoils the occasion' if you let it. Personally I can't understand why such a special event, something that no English person has ever witnessed before (Euro Champs final), could be 'spoiled' by approx 2 mins of booing before the game even starts. But then again I've never been the type of person to let my day or night be 'spoiled' by someone making a noise I don't like. I'm not interested in giving strangers that much influence over my enjoyment of something or mental health.

I heard a song that said they have sea lions on their shirts. Cant understand why.
I've not watched a single game live and they've not lost. Cant change that today or I'll put a total hex on it all.
