If 4 2 3 1 is good enough for England, and good enough for us most of last year, then

Key Ray Hartridge Daniel/ Grounds

Taylor, Dieng

Brown Jay Edwards

Amond/Nombe

But 5 at the back no doubt, with Jake on the left again
Bit harsh to leave Sweeney out as he hasn't done much wrong this season.

As for the formation I believe that one of Forest Green's strengths this season are their wing-backs and Matt Taylor said in his interview that he expects both sides to play the same formation. If Josh Key maintains his form of the last couple of the games I would expect him to be able to deal with their left wing-back. However, on the opposite flank we all know how good Kane Wilson is so whoever plays as left wing-back could have a crucially important role.

As the squad gets bigger and stronger there will be lots of "bit harsh to leave out" situations right down the spine of the team (apart from goalie)

Why can't full backs deal with wing backs? Do the formations have to mirror eachother?

The formations don't have to mirror each other so we could go 4 at the back if we wanted but Matt Taylor has made it clear he prefers three at the back this season and that we are very likely to continue with that formation tomorrow.

We might have improved in recent weeks but I'm not ready to leave the keeper out just yet.
