Last time I saw this pic it was with another one with the city team lined up waving to the cow shed fans, great pic but can’t find it on here anymore.

Was that the infamous match where our substitute Ben Rowe, warming up beside the pitch, was "sent off" by the ref for complaining too vehemently when yet another clearly "offside" Fulham goal was not disallowed ?

I think it may have been a bit later than that game judging by the sponsors on the shirt.

Got this press photo a while back, but have never known who the City player is. Anyone got an idea?.

Is from the late 40s/early fifties as there are no floodlights on the Cowshed. Difficult to say from the keeper who the opposition is, but the socks could be black and gold, so maybe Newport?
