Sad news, strange seeing 23 teams in League One. Could quite easily be 22 in 14 days time. That's how long Bolton have been given.
Reported that the administrators only have enough money to fund the club for another 24 to 48 hours. Unless a deal is done Wanderers won't make that two week deadline if true.

On the bright side we could be promoted to League one without even trying.

It's annoying to see the Neville's crying crocodile tears over the demise of their "hometown club".
Especially when you consider they poured their riches into creating and promoting a new, nearby "plastic" rival!

Must admit I just assumed there would be a delay or a 'last minute deal' to save Bury and despite having no connection to the club I found the news of their expulsion more shocking than expected.

Very sad

2 minute hobble from the nearest pub. Or in it.
Echo the thoughts of many. A sad day. RIP Bury, hopefully a new club will rise from the ashes.
Only went to Bury once. The game was frozen off and to cap it all the car engine died on us. Had to stay a night there in deepest winter, waiting for a local garage to fix things the following day.
On the bright side we had a cracking night, out at low prices, in the local pubs. We also met some really nice locals. This has left me with a soft spot for Bury ever since.

Typical , part of what’s rotten about it all.Don’t forget they lived in another world , the rarified atmosphere of the Premiership where everyone is out of touch with what’s going on at the swamp end unless it involves pinching a promising player as cheaply as possible.

Possible apparently , so that’s as little as possible coming our way that they can haggle plus a fifty page thread on here listing his every move as he makes more and more money for the recipient club.
