Bury expelled from the EFL
The EFL management are too busy leading the good life to focus on their core responsibilities.A sad day for their fans. Bolton also looking into the abyss. I wonder if this will trigger the EFL into putting more in place to ensure clubs really do spend within their means. I won't hold my breath though.
I actually feel some sympathy with incoming EFL Chief Debbie Jevans, what a welcome to her new job, having to sort out the pile of $hit left by that incompetent buffoon Harvey. The member Clubs of the EFL must take their share of the responsibility too, they are the ones that vote to pass the rules and regulations and there are an increasing number of owners in the category of turkeys not wanting to vote for Christmas. I have faith however in our representatives speaking up and being heard. The EFL management are too busy leading the good life to focus on their core responsibilities.
I agree with all of that. None of this is Debbie Jevans' responsibility : the horse had already bolted Exeter (in the past), R&D, Blackpool, Coventry, Northampton, Bolton, Bury, and presumably several other clubs who fell out of the League or are in trouble now seem to have been victims of incompetent /dodgy/fraudulent ownership.I actually feel some sympathy with incoming EFL Chief Debbie Jevans, what a welcome to her new job, having to sort out the pile of $hit left by that incompetent buffoon Harvey.
