Yes, they are. But I've also played on pitches in August that were equally as rock hard & nobody ever considered calling them off.

Yes summer pitches can be a nightmare, luckily professional clubs know how to use a sprinkler or two so the concrete like summer surfaces only cause issues for amateurs.

If only we couldn't get a few people on here up there to talk to the pitch. The resultant hot air should keep it playable without any worries

I'm amazed it's still on. Have my doubts about the game going ahead even now though but so far so good. Need something to look forward to tonight. Today has been the most boring, depressing day from hell. I'm falling to sleep as there is literally nothing to do.
