They will get their comeuppances on Saturday - they are playing against Jokull (once a Grecian always a Grecian) 🤞

Just seen their highlights - not good drainage, they will be trying to nick our Chas next to save embarrassment
Their pitch is quite old now, IIRC. They will presumably need to dig it up if they are promoted.

What is remarkable is that even with all the surface water their pitch doesn't seem to cut up which bodes well for our pitch which, I think, is a similar style.

Still hate to say it, They're doing OK, Even with a "Swamp" of a pitch.
Janners are doomed to eternal failure, especially the football team.

It rained steadily down in Cornwall during the game and then was monsoon conditions from the 85th min. The 94th min goal they scored was farcical. IF the monsoon had come 10 mins earlier the ref would have had a very difficult decision on whether to postpone the game.

So you're saying the ref would have had a difficult decision to make if the monsoon had come one minute earlier than it did. Bit specific isn't it?

On the plus side a few thousand Janners arrived back home washed cleaner than they have been for a long while.
(Just a bit worried about the noxious effluent that might have been flushed down into the Tamar)

Er no. My post clearly says 10 minutes.

It tickles me that the YouTube clip has been viewed over 3m times. If that Janner had turned on adverts, they'd be north of £30k richer now. Poor ole argyle.

Er yes. You said the monsoon conditions began in the 85th minute. You then said they scored in the 94th minute and if the monsoon had come come ten minutes earlier the ref would have a tricky decision. Ten minutes before the 94th minute is the 84th minute, which is one minute before the monsoon actually came. So if according to what you've written, if it occured in the 84th minute rather than the 85th the ref would have had a tricky decision.
