But where are those points coming from? You have to gain every one of them, by hook or by crook, from a draw by not conceding or from a win by scoring more goals than your opponents. Neither seem to be on the cards at the moment, 27 goals scored in 40 games is pretty self-evidently failure. I suspect we *will* just about scrape enough points to survive, but assuming the teams below us will be even worse is not a strategy.
Chill John. 6 points will easily come from Shrewsbury and Burton. Got the rest of the season to find a couple more.

Oh really, nothing is easy for ECFC at the moment, Fleetwood was meant to be easy!
We will drop due to our home form which is absolutely carp, scoring few goals.

We've been struggling since Owen Goal and D Flection dropped off form.
D Flection is our top scorer of late isn't he? Our scoring record is rubbish enough, but if in recent weeks you take out the own goals and the deflected shots that go in, then our goal scoring threat is pretty minimal.

Apparently shooting drills now consist of trying to hit opposing defenders to get the ball to loop over the keeper.

Don't have any problem with deflected goals as it's a long awaited sign that we are shooting more - long may it continue

Our “forwards” Cox , Eisa , Muskwe , Wildschut & Scott have scored 7 goals between them and were into March

7..it’s unbelievable.

Our top scorer is a central midfielder in Reece Cole on 4…

Are all the above forwards awful players? or does the tactics make playing in Citys team an almost impossible job as a front man?

We can always rely on A Deflection to chip in with a few goals mind 🤣

It's not the deflected goals that are the issue, it's the paucity of 'clean' goals.

It's an impossible job under Cladwell's dry tactics.
