Why what lower league diamonds have we brought in over the years?
I can’t think of any? 😂 Wheeler?
Shaun Taylor, Wheeler you said. Harley has already been mentioned. King Kev.

Try to be a little more positive. You know you can do it if you try.😉

I've been watching some 90s TOTP episodes on BBC4 this week and the Milli Vanilli scandal has been talked about. Let's hope this lad is the real deal.

Didn't we sign Harley from Weston-super-Mare?
After my apparently successful campaign encouraging people on here to spell Bridgwater correctly I’m now turning my attention to Weston-super-Mare.
Thank you denzel for using a lower case ‘s’ in super.
Excellent work!

Interesting that the most recent non league gem that has been cited is David Wheeler who signed for us ten years ago. Nothing significant since then? I think that's because there are so many players hoarded/trained at higher levels within big squads.Even our recent 'non league' signings had had a number of years at professional clubs - Reece Cole at Brentford (then in Scotland) and even Vinnie Harper came through the academy and was a pro at Bristol City. So there's far fewer 'unknown' players than 50 years ago.

It's not about how many non league gems have we brought, it's more about how many good league players have come from non league

Vardy - Fleetwood to Leicester

Antonio - Tooting to West Ham

Chris Smalling - Maidstone to Roma

Troy Deeney- Halesowen Town to Watford

Callum Wilson Kettering to Bournemouth

Deli Ali, Joe Hart, Danny Ings, Andre Gray, Jarrod Bowen, Che Adams, Solly March. There's many, many many more. We could go on for days.

I truly hope Alli sees us as a stepping stone to top flight football and we get to to sell him for plenty whilst having a cracking player for a couple of years.
