Back in the day, teams would finish their season and go to the beach with other games still to be played. Then they sat back, watched other results and became champions (like Derby County).

I'll just help myself to 10 points, go back to sleep and claim my title after you've all desperately tried to catch up on the final day.

22A is The Proper Chap.
Think he was banned so no longer an Exewebber. He previously posted as wemissmoxey of course.

In case that is correct and to grab some working points

If that's correct then it's all a bit pathetic, the Hollywood sign is not a prop, it's the real thing, if Ron Howard goes down as a "chap" then so could anyone, Bertie Wooster might have been more appropriate and er for the Pembroke seems a little simplistic.

Goal hanger!

It's not right, the answer is more straightforward than you're all thinking. It's more of a 'say what you see' answer, as long as you get everything in the right order.

Sturtz takes the 10-pointer! It's a PET and a RON and LA (with the L pronounced as Ell and the A as Ah for the purposes of this question).

This puts the cat among the pigeons in the race for the title - maybe the main players are pleased because one of their main rivals didn't get it?

Well done STURTZ.

That's quite a feat of memory, I'd never have got Petronella Clown, who apparently hasn't posted in over 10 years!

Did think about that but decided against taking one for the team, happy with mid table respctability TBH.
