Nothing against the guy, I've no idea if he'd be brilliant or awful, or how he'd likely line us up. But why, exactly do you rate him?

Just feel he’d do a job, knows the club well, etc.
Had a few seasons experience as an assistant.. Would also fit the wage bill of a manager at the club!

Don't forget that Wayne was a player / away scorer in the famous winner takes all game v Torquay before we won at Wembers to return to the league.
Like MT he was a player that became part of our management and knows the club at all levels from academy upwards.

a bit too unassuming a charachter more of a number two than someone who covets the limelight. Perhaps Dan Green fancies a move into his first managment job?
