Strange game today. Newport looked one of the worst teams ive seen at the park this season. Jay's goal just illustrated that they where there for the taking.

For me, Dawson was at fault for both goals. But, defenders needed to be much closer to the goalscorers.

Ridiculous to me why Taylor chose to make the subs when he did, having just scored to bring moment our way, it changes almost immediately.

Or dodging relegation !
When you go 10 games unbeaten and people are predicting relegation battles🤣🤣🤣.

Honestly. Come on. If we weren’t scoring goals you might have a tiny bit of a cause for concern.

I could understand Taylor taking Edwards off. For me he's a bit too Randell Williams for my liking. One footed on the wrong side of the pitch and the ball to feet far too often. I would have liked to have seen Coley come on for him.

Yes odd timing for the subs but Caprice did put a couple of nice balls into the box.

When start shifting the ball earlier and sharper into the channels for Nombe to run on to then we'll start turning teams over properly. I lost count of the amount of times there was an opportunity to get Nombe on his bike with a pass down the inside channels. But instead we wait........... and we wait............ and the opportunity has gone and we end up playing the ball backwards or sideways ten to fifteen yards and have to start again. When we had Bowman up front I could understand us being a little picky with our forward passing but Nombe has more than enough pace and strength to make the most of those sorts of situations.

Hoped we would have better capitalised on the sun being in Newport's eyes in the second half, but we were playing a new formation for most of the game so, in my mind, can be forgiven for being a bit rusty in a few areas. If our drawn games could be as entertaining as today's things won't be too bad. Another good striker's goal from Nombe.

After as usual Seth Conway started ruining MOTD, I swapped over to the Newport feed. They were suprisingly generous and even handed towards us, and were too engrossed in the game they were supposed to be watching to report on any others. Was much better.
