I thought we were probably a bit more worthy of a win than Newport, they didn't make much in the first 80 minutes. Their two goals were pot shots from distance and we can be disappointed with both the goalkeeping and defending for their goals. We worked a lot of chances and with Jay and Nombe on the pitch we have a good chance of scoring goals, I don't think we will go many games without scoring this season anyway. A little more composure with our final balls and we'll be good to go. If we're scoring about 2 goals a game, we should start winning soon.

Usually over the years City can be frustratingly unpredictable but this is draw stuff is becoming the norm
Fringes of the playoffs beckons on this form.

Two (and a half) plus points
1. We've broken the Jinx of those goal-less bore draws
2. At least, this week, we fought back twice from a losing position
and, a final, 0.5....at least, apart from the Orient debacle we haven't managed to lose yet.

Only the bottom three have won less games than we have.

No-one has lost as few as we have.

The reality is we are only 4 points off third place still even after all these draws! We look like we can go on a run as soon as the defence tightens up as we look very slick going forward.

Not so long ago the defence was tight but we couldn't score and were still drawing games. The reality is we're not playing well enough as a team to win enough matches.

A lot of score draws too. What does that mean. I’m sure we hardly drew last year!!!

I think three 0-0 scores in the last three games cost us a Playoff place last season.

Apart from Dieng and Nombe that was simply awful. I wonder what nonsense the architect of averageness Taylor will bestow on us this week as a response. Dreadful game, dreadful performance, not seen anything little better than rubbish so far this season.
