Villa's squad "significantly" hit by positive tests. Training ground closed and tomorrow nights Cup tie with Liverpool under threat. Here's hopIng that Ollie is OK.

Other teams were bound to focus on a way to neutralise him and Grealish after recent games. Dean Smith now needs to work out a counter - strategy.
Ollie needs a confidence boosting goal sooner rather than later. He is leading the line well, currently doing everything but score and it is not that he is missing chances he is just not getting any luck in front of goal whatsoever.

A great pity that for a striker, unlike the likes of Kane, he does not have a good record as a penalty taker so is unable and does not get the opportunity to break his barren spell by netting via the penalty spot.

Didn't his last one for Villa hit the crossbar ? Recently he's been hitting the post and crossbar a lot, and all strikers go through a barren spell, but he's not hiding.

I think his all-round contribution is worth goals to Villa and he still usually gets very good reviews. But you're right in that it's better for him to get goals than not to.

Just scored his seventh league goal versus Newcastle breaking a bit of a barren spell.

Also had another one ruled out for a very marginal offside – think that's three goals he's lost to VAR this season.
