Re the IINM bit, I'm talking about way before VAR.When did that ever happen though in reality, again a good case that Var has probably let more goals go, then the ones they've ruled out, the stats back that up too, rather than feelings.
You say VAR "probably has let more goals go than the ones they've ruled out". For me that's not really a glowing report on VAR.
If they're going to stop play and interfere with the refs decision then they should be certain they're right. Maybe I'm old-fashioned - and I know we always gave refs a lot of hassle when the decision was theirs to make - but I prefer the refs to be the arbiter.
About the stats - do we know what percentage of mistakes VAR has made compared to how many mistakes a ref would make on average re goal decisions?
