I’m still confident we’ll get promoted. We’ve got a young side with lots of kids and a reasonably inexperienced manager that all need our support when times are tough (like now when we’ve gone 5 games without a win).

Agreed. They are both decent. However, they have struggled recently. I don't think it is a surprise that they have tended to struggle in the winter months on heavy pitches. I fear we lack "adaptability". We tend to be a "one-trick-pony" with our approach and our tactics. Fingers crossed we can find a way to arrest this slump in form.
Agree with this Martin. I still can't work out why we continue to wait to the 80th minute to bring on Nicky Law though. Surely he can be brought on sooner to help affect the game.
Really frustrated tonight!

Proper Chap's very keen on meaningless statistics, here's one. Since Williams has been out we've played 3, drawn 2, lost 1 scored 1 conceded 3.Hardly the brave new dawn one might have hoped for?
One assist all season, yeah we really missed him tonight.

On a wet and cold night in Yorkshire Williams would have probably offered next to nothing.

Yes it is. MJ and Randall clearly have more space to work in when he is on the pitch. He will be a big loss for us. Jake Taylor too, who gives us more quality in the middle third.

The only player to come out of tonight with any significant credit is Jonny Maxted who was excellent throughout.

He did not have a lot to do really as Harrogate were mediocre but certainly made the saves that spared our sorry arses tonight.

There was more than enough space on that pitch tonight, we just didn't use it.

The Williams comment is becoming tiresome now, he's been poor this season and it hasn't been because the opposition have been doubling up on him, they haven't. Jay and Randall doing well had very little to do with Williams.

You really are full of it Sturtz.

Williams is in the team to create goals, he's got one assist this season. That is shocking.
