Well if the deal goes through and Taylor wants him to feature tomorrow then we can expect news in the morning. It’s possible things were tied up earlier but the announcement got delayed.

Or, the player has done a Willem Tomlinson on us....
Hopefully its more to do with the fact that MT doesn't want it announced to early before the game tonight.

I’ve heard we’ve extended Ajose’s contract.

Taylor’s given a transfer update....

The player was due to be signed but it’s delayed as he has tested positive for COVID. Plus he’s just had an operation so is on his way back to fitness...Not ideal.

Sounds like a permanent signing if we were getting someone who’s working their way back to fitness, but it’s odd that we’ve gone for a player who’s not fully fit when we need players now.

Wonder who it could be.

Bonkers decision, I presume his quality is worth it. Same situation as Atangana when he signed then.

Edit- obviously not the COVID...

If he's of Atanganas quality I don't think he's the answer to our problems. Big Nige is a fine squad player but he's not gonna get us promoted. :cautious:

Random guess of the day. Tom Thorpe. Ex Man Utd, Rotherham and loans at Birmingham, Bradford and Bolton. Turns 28 today. Still a free agent after a year in India playing for Teddy Sherringham and then Robbie Keane’s ATK.

Played at Bradford at the same time as McArdle just before Law.

The player is currently attached to a club as Taylor mentioned on Devon Live that the club we’re signing him from has had a lot of COVID problems. Doesn’t really narrow things down!

Trying to think of the L2 teams with notable COVID issues. Morecambe? Bolton. Tranmere.
