I'm aware of, and respect, her nursing career and actually know someone who was on the wards with her but I wouldn't go and watch her stand-up. Obviously she's a big name in a tough industry and therefore popular but it's a custard pie in the eye from me.
Seconded and rightly or wrongly she comes across to me as rather superior

Fair enough - nice to see cowpat moderated to custard pie ;)

I know this thread is a humorous take on life, and we all well behaved people. But just in case anyone wanted to nominate JK Rowling, here's The Sun newspaper condoning such behaviour.

Don't know why. Maybe it's his hairstyle reminding me of one of the baddies in Predator. Or the fact he's a posing, narcissistic dimwit and an average footballer who thinks he's like George Best.

Therese Coffey could qualify for a cowpat followed by a custard pie after Boris's welcome U-turn on child meal vouchers.

A well-aimed pie for that irritating bloke on the TV life insurance advert. The one who's so excited about his new policy. And another for his lady friend from next door.
