As I tend to hear him on the wireless rather than seeing him in the flesh (so to speak) I think a sock in the gob would be helpful as an additional measure.

The over 50's one? If so, Totally agree.
I couldn't imagine any neighbour of mine stopping long if all they want to do was to discuss funeral plans.

Another thing that irks me is organisations that no longer use collection tins but would rather sign you up to monthly subscriptions. There's many out there who would gladly contribute a few coins but are unable or unwilling to be tied down in such a fashion.

And if you are stupid enough to sign up, the first years subscriptions will go straight to the firm of street "chuggers" anyway ! :mad:

Go direct to the Charity and cut out the parasitical middlemen instead !
