I thought that was a far better performance from City and they probably edged it.
Shame about the Crewe time wasting, their number 9 who seemed to crumple at the slightest touch and a ref who was definitely not a homer

3 of the 4 minutes of injury time was taken up by the physio on the pitch and nothing else added on and the non decision by the linesman for the foul on Williams was one of the worst decisions I've seen in years. Clueless.
How can it be a "worst decision" when no decision was made or kick given? The linesman didnt have the view from the side that the camerman and John Ayres had. It was a well executed move where Williams got shoved in the back as the player played for and won the ball simultaniously. The linesman wouldnt have been looking for an upper body foul.

I would be interested to hear Matt Taylors interview after the match. He seemed to be far from happy with the decisions being made according to the radio.

It was a reasonable performance that deserved 3 points, but Taylor wasn't brave enough with his substitutions. Didn't give another striker a chance when we were desperate for a goal. That's what strikers are employed for,to score goals.Use them when you need one.

In light of the officials performance throughout the match,I'm not sure there was much contact for Martin's yellow card.

The linesman would have been watching the ball and their feet, not looking for an upper body foul. And as for all these minutes that referees keep robbing us of, isnt it a bit weak to bring that topic up after every match?
Not when we get done the other way as happened against Portsmouth. There wasn't five minutes to add in that game yet the ref found it. Portsmouth's winner came in added time in added time of time that didn't exist. And you want to know why people are carping on about it?

That's what you get when you play Lee Martin up front (or twenty yards behind his strike partner as he usually is).

Wouldn't it be weak to just accept things aren't correct?? We may have not scored in the injury time that should have been played, but gives you a very good chance. Why should fans just accept this and roll over?

It's the first time I've mentioned timekeeping you bulb.

If the linesman can't see the defender not even looking at the ball, slapping a player across the face and pulling his shirt, then regardless of the angle he needs to find another job.

He played wide left. Law played closest to bowman
