I know what you mean on searching for a thread. There must be a better way or perhaps I don't use the search tool properly. Advice please anybody.

Which thread are you trying to find ? A lot disappeared in the Great Exeweb Wipeout.
Aha that shall remain a secret until I have found it, read it and decided whether to unearth it from the archives. It should still be there.

No, he was getting into a lift in our office block. This means that there must be two people who look like him.

It means there are at least two people in Bristol alone that look like him. Unless it's the same bloke.

Or 'ungrateful sod', as I thought at the time.

To be fair, he was sat by a cashpoint in the banking district on a Friday evening - he's probably on £40K+ p.a.
