Toe boards, ladder not aligned, stabilisers either not connected properly or at the correct angle, wheel brakes not applied. I hope the builders aren’t as slack with the building as they appear to be with site safety.
If you look at the first picture then I think it is still being positioned and so not in it's final state.

Cheers RW so were there no rooms below that level and the level of Wells Road?
No mate. As Ant says, access from Well Street was up the metal steps to pitch level. From there, there were steps up to the seating area which came out nearly half way up and which probably gave the impression that the doors at that first level were below the level of the pitch.

Anyone know the thinking behind positioning the vomitories in the centre of the seating blocks, rather than in line with the steps/walkways as they usually are?

How would you get all the way down the steps if there was a big hole there?

Also, it is that it's just not been done yet or is it never going to happen but it appears at the far end of the grandstand provision has been made to block the end off, but at this near end there's no such provision.

The same way you do at every other ground i've been to, via steps running down beside the aperture.

Comfortably mid-table
The two most common arrangements for vomitories in my experience are:
[1] Where the tunnel is at pitch level is is positioned at the centre of the block.
[2] Where the tunnels are at a higher level they usually open directly on the steps down to pitch level with other steps leading upwards from the side of the aperture.

All of ours are at pitch level.

It's more space efficient to have vomitory in the centre, as you have a single run of straight stairs, rather than two stair runs either side of the vomitory then a kink to return to single run. Therefore there is more space left over for seats!

You can't have a screen end if the stand ends on the half way line. A large number of seats would not be able to see a good proportion of the pitch. Obviously at the end where the stand finishes in line with the goal line it is possible to erect one.
Putting in a clear cladding would still impede views from the seats in the rear of the block nearest the half way line and it would get dirty and scratched at best.
Although the initial plan showed a screen end at both ends of the stand this was obviously a little bit of artistic license.

How would you see the pitch if the end was blocked off?
