Backing Gary Caldwell, thanks Matt and good luck.
Not going to happen but no harm in wishing. What I would say however is if he does still have the two year rolling deal we should be expecting Fulham to pay up the compensation if it did happen. For it to be waived would defeat the object of such a deal in the first place unless the club were just happy to get the opportunity for a chance which I don't think is the case.

Here and there
Ha! Ha!

"Fulham, who have won just twice in their last seven outings in the league, are currently 12th in the table."

Exeter City have won just once in their last eight outings in the league, and are currently 14th in the table.

So would you play hardball over the compensation and risk the deal falling through?

Our Directors would....they would want Tisdale to stay.

When he was in the running elsewhere (Oxford?) it was suggested compo would be less of an issue than we previously thought.

I would be absolutely gutted if he left. I have loved the emphasis on passing and technical play over the years of his tenure and really not sure we could get a better manager at our level. I'm hoping this is just another silly rumour.

In what way? That the club would let him go , or that we wouldn't be entitled to much compo?

I hope the press don't quiz him about it, it's really not fair to be asking him these sort of questions ;)
