Saw it at Bristol Rovers, I was actually supporting him and he was extremely disparaging towards me, called me a w@nker I seem to remember. I was shocked!

What he actually said was:

"Your are a dead ringer for my merchant banker"

FWIW I think it should be locked, and probably some others too from ancient history. It is stupid - and pretty distasteful - to pretend that these are live discussions. Who are we debating with? For goodness' sake, at least 3 people on that thread have since passed away (which is a bit more important than petty point-scoring).

Anyone is free to link to an ancient thread, even if it is locked. We can still read them if we want. That seems enough.
