I see that now Salford are playing in the Trophy Final on the 5th April, so their game away against Swindon on April 4th will have to be moved. That means they will have to play midweek late on in the season. This could be an advantage to us.
or it might be a disadvantage. Games toward the end of the season tend to result in teams with something to play for doing better than teams who don’t.

Maybe, though I suspect the statistical evidence for that is limited.

Anyway Salford might have something to play for, they are currently not anything like out of the playoff race. Though of course we want to rain on their parade in three weeks time at SJP.

Cheltenham host Northampton tonight. A draw would be good.

Away win even better. Draw gives Cheltenham 58 points, Nton win also 58 points. But Cheltenham are on a run, better GD, and currently two points closer. Northampton have a worse GD than them and will have played a game more than us.

Would rather the draw otherwise we have two more teams only 5 points away a little to close for comfort.

Yes. Ryan Watson was the cheating number 8 from our game on Saturday has scored. Looks like he's miraculously recovered from his serious head injury.
