We shouldn't be bringing in players to cover injuries. We'll end up with some kids who aren't match fit and haven't trained with us before.

Should've been sorted before now and then some loans added to the squad and they are given time to bed in.

I think there’s a lot of truth in your first paragraph. Taylor comes across as a little humourless, cold fish even....
If true then he does a very good job of impersonating how you come across on this board.

I like Matt and think he can do a good job but he’s had months
and months to bring in some quality sigoing’s and that’s
before we’ve got another big fee for selling Joel.
The last two signings seem to be panic signings at the last
minUte.
Jonathan Grounds just because he played in the championship
at his peak doesn’t mean is what we need now, he was in a
Swindon side that shipped a lot of goals and managed to
get 12 yellow cards ,that should have been a warning Of
maybe lacking pace .

Padraig Amond could turnout okay but his interview at the
C&F he said he only knew of our interest 4 hours before,
that does smack of lack of foreword planning, also he only scored
once in his last 31 games for a Newport side that lost at
Wembley.

We still need a couple of strikers a winger and ball playing
midfielder.
Don’t expect to get any of them.

Oh bugger off Ian, I started watching City in 1995, I'm fully aware of how bad we can be - much worse than you had to "put up with" in the 80s.... you're even lucky enough to have seen a title winning team, which you bang on about all the time
Season 83/84 12pts from first 17 games 11 from last 23 relegated with 5 still to play finishing bottom 10 points adrift.

Comfortably our worst ever season.

Talking of wingers , is Coley fully fit now?

Well I'm not spewing a load of bile over the boards, that's one thing. Thing is, reading thru your posts, it seems you're only ever here with your chronic discontent when we lose and hardly ever a squeak when we win. Funny one that.

No, we had Gerry Francis promising to take us up out of this division (Division3) and he did take us out of Division 3............... into Division 4
GH I think from memory he actually said “he would take us out of this division” no mention of “up” lol.

Everyone’s ****** off, except you & Memphis . You appear to relish and revel in every defeat.
