What football is all about.
Who lent them the Subbuteo floodlights?

Really lovely ground and a stunning location, right in the mountains.

To be honest, I've now gone to Austria 3 times under the guise of watching Argyle, but that's about 1% of the mini holiday.

Great mates, brilliant weather (apart from 2008) and lovely countryside make a great time.

If you get the chance and your team do a few foreign trip, jump at the chance.

I think we'll be doing Bideford next season.

Yeah I am going to that one Elgy.

I've never been (I forgot about that one).

I've driven by it, a couple of times, but never been inside.

Unlike the old Goldstone Ground, which I did a few times.

It's a 'really lovely ground' too, honest. <<snort>>

Don't forget to take your binoculars and sou'wester.

So I've heard, and it's in February.

I'm going to stay in Worthing overnight though so I'll make a mini break of it.

Is Worthing even worth a mini break Ian? Didn't notice anything worth lingering more than 10 minutes for last time i passed through. What did I miss??

To be fair Worthing is quite a decent night out. Much more varied night goers nowadays, Porkus will enjoy it provided he hasn't got any 'issues'!

Oh, Porkus please say hello to the stewards for us. They're lovely people!!

There's a lovely art deco hotel on the sea front, I stayed there a few months ago on business.

I think Brighton's a hole to be honest, the Lanes was one the biggest disappointments, antiques, all tat if you ask me.

I'm not a great lover of the South Coast, but Worthing has a charm which does something for me.

A tip for you....there's a club along the seafront, used to be called Tides but I think it's been renamed 7s. Good place to visit on Saturdays if you're not too choosy about your women!!

Don't say I never do anything to help you out!!
