And now Cornish Pirates have announced that they could be forced to go part time in 2024, unless additional funding has been secured.
Both Jersey and the Pirates have been touted as potential members of the Gallagher Premiership going forward.
Can’t help but think that England just cannot support a league on its own.

One needs to also remember that American interests bought into the Rugby Premiership a short while ago. The money that injected into the Clubs appears to have been swallowed up and squandered by the "broken model".

Welsh teams struggling too, perhaps there should be more England-Wales club games.

Only 9,371 in attendance for the Chiefs 1st game of the season against Sarries. A big drop from the capacity of 15,600 that they used to get.

Aren't the best players still at the World Cup though.

Number of Saracens players still in World Cup action = 10
Number of Exeter Chiefs players still in World Cup action = 3

There's probably been a fair bit of pessimism after the Chiefs lost so many top players at the end of last season.

It’s simply too expensive for many to go there regularly now I think.
Some result yesterday though, will boost the attendance for the next game I expect.
